About George Coleman Ford in Travelers Rest, SC

Here at George Coleman Ford, we put you and your needs first when you come to us for help. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority, and we're well aware that the transaction isn't over when the vehicle is delivered. We strive to create a stress-free and straightforward shopping experience, one that truly differentiates us from the "same-old, same-old" dealerships you may have gotten used to. It doesn't cost more to receive the customer service you deserve at our Ford dealership near Greenville, SC, and we're ready to prove it to you!

Our story began in 1930, when a plucky and hardworking entrepreneur by the name of George Coleman was building his presence in the Travelers Rest region. Coleman kept himself busy bettering his community, booking local-area moonshiners in his role as State Constable and enacting policies as Travelers Rest's very first mayor. As Henry Ford was delivering mass-produced automobiles to the world for the first time, Coleman opened the doors to this dealership and began to sell Ford vehicles, including the Model A and Model T "horseless carriages" that were all the rage in the early 1930s. Nowadays, we specialize in models a little more advanced than that, including the Ford F-150 pickup, Explorer SUV and Focus sedan.

George Coleman Ford has been family-owned and -operated ever since. We've continued to provide great new and used Ford vehicles to eager customers, outlasting a number of contemporary dealerships and weathering ups and downs throughout the years (not to mention a world war and a great depression). Nowadays, we also strive to give back to the local community. We provide complimentary automobiles to Clemson University, Furman University, and North Greenville University. Our team has also contributed to many Travelers Rest High School fundraisers. On top of that, we honor the Employee of the Month at Travelers Rest High School, Northwest Middle School, Gateway Elementary School, and Heritage Elementary School. We're members of The Better Business Bureau and Greenville Chamber of Commerce, and we support the Travelers Rest YMCA and the local Relay for Life every year.

Visit us today to see why our customer service and shopping environment continues to thrive to this day!
